2E or not to 2E?

Autism in girls looks different. I am learning this. Given the ongoing suspicions that princess #2 might be autistic, we still never had her tested. It is generally not recognized in girls, so what is the point? She is GT, so she is highly functioning and until recently, teachers have been great at working with her. Accommodating her quirks and working to connect with her to assess her learning. Until recently. High school is a whole different ball game. Not for all teachers, but some. Blame it on the hundreds of students they process, or the fact that they are trying to prepare these students for the "real world", but #2 is not quite making it...and she is again ready to quit. So test we will.
