TAGT Annual Conference!

Thank you, TAGT for another inspiring conference.

In addition to the wonderful information delivered by experienced, creative presenters, it is good to have conversations with so many people who are passionate about reaching their students.

If you have not had a chance to attend, you should.

Great information for all--parents, educators, therapists, gifted learners.

Some of my favorite highlights:

  • Ian Byrd from byrdseed -- Applying Social and Emotional Needs as an Academic tool. Full of creative ideas for teaching. Full of information for Gifted Learners for self discovery. Two winners in my book.

  • Lisa Van Gemert (The Gifted Guru) with Ian Byrd -- Fast and Furious. What can I say? Two of my favorites slinging resources and ideas for 90 minutes…

  • Twice Exceptionality--What is it? How do you identify 2E learners? How do we help them succeed?

  • Advocacy--Thank you to the parent of gifted learners who serves on a school board for reminding us that we ALL need to speak up! Those in charge of legislation/decision making don’t know unless we tell them…

  • Debra Taylor and Cindy Rum of Comal ISD--Can you hear what I see? An eye opening look at what it means to be a visual/spatial learner. More on this later!

  • Christina Popescu--for the kind, on the side lesson on Twitter. I think I learned more in those 5 minutes than I ever knew I needed. My technology game will step up thanks to you.

Looking forward to applying all the ideas and knowledge! And looking forward to TAGT Dallas 2016!
